From the doctors and specialists at the Mill Pond Medial Centre, to the skilled physicians at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, local medical professionals chose Alliston for a reason – to be closer to the community and their patients.
Our dedicated team of doctors and specialists, both young and veteran physicians, understand the need for service in the Town of New Tecumseth. They want to be part of this wonderful community and some have moved their practice to work, live and raise their families in our community. Local physicians work shifts at Stevenson Memorial Hospital and some even make house calls! They also provide compassionate care at Matthews House Hospice.
Local volunteers work hard to recruit and retain physicians and specialists. The Alliston & Area Physician Recruitment Committee consists of volunteers from four municipalities of Adjala-Tosorontio, Essa, Innisfil and New Tecumseth, working in cooperation with Stevenson Memorial Hospital.
