Dr. Modar Safar graduated from the University of Baghdad Medical School in 1995.
He went through his residency working in rural communities throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.
Dr. Safar moved his family to Alliston, Ontario in 2011 to begin his community service working within the ER staff at Stevenson Memorial Hospital and beginning his family practice as a member of the Alliston Family Health Team.
Dr. Safar is a sports enthusiast and enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
